How to buy a better webhost

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Let’s face it, most website hosting comapanies are terrible. I have had some really bad experiences with a few. And that is why I chose to buy Hostgator webhosting. First before I made this decision I of course wanted to compare hostgator with the competition. I thouhgt the easiest way to do this was to go strait to a hostgator comarison website and view it for myself. Once I found one that really knew what they were talking about it made the choice easy. Hostgator is now my only hosting\webhosting company of choice, no one else even comes close. Take my word for it when its time to get the best use a hostgator review website and stack them up against their competition to see how they compare. If your like me, they will become the natural choice. There was however one other company that fared pretty well when stacked up to hostgator and that was In Motion web hosting. The big reasone they also seem pretty good is that they really do give you a big value for your money. Their unlimited plan is a little less expensive than hostgator and they give you what looks to be several more bells and whistles, but is that really true? You can only find out for sure when you REALLY stop and compare hostgator head to head with them and once you do that, then truly your the only person who can judge what your needs are and what you want out of your web host.

One personal note: if you do a lot of bloging hostgator is set up big time to remove the frustrations you normally get from all the other web hosts when wanting to quickly upload a new wordpres blog.

Nursing Careers Are Still Hot Even In A Down Economy

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Unless you have been living on an island somewhere and not paying attention to the news, you should now that the economy is slowing big time in 2008 and who know how long it will last. As a result of things slowing down many jobs are being lost and many more can be expected to continue being lost in the coming months. Even though this is grim, there are still jobs out there in demand.

Many of the jobs in demand are in the medical fields such as nursing. In fact there are many different nursing career options to consider. One of the easiest ways to learn more about how to become a nurse is to contact several schools with nursing programs in your area to find out what all is involved. Depending on your current situation and career goals you may be able to get started relatively quickly.

Even if you do not have time to complete a four year degree that does not mean you can not begin a nursing career. Many programs are available to get you working in a nursing role in less then four years, some less then two years. For example it is fairly common for some people to first become a licensed practical nurse and then later in their career go on to finish one of the many rn to bsn completion programs available.

This is all good news in a time of too much bad news with respect to jobs. The sooner you take action and learn more about your career options in the nursing field the sooner you may be in a more secure position. The best thing to do in order to make a good decision is to learn as much as you can. That mean reading websites, contacting schools, talking with school advisors, talking with current nurses, etc..
