Transport Training is a Recession Proof Investment

Friday, March 5th, 2010

With the recent economic down turn affecting all areas of the logistic and transport industry, companies can be forgiven for cutting costs in all possible ways. However, the current buoyancy of the transport training market proves that it’s not all ‘doom and gloom’ and some things are really worth the investment.

The consensus from the large conglomerates that training is key to success has filtered throughout the transport training industry, with many SMEs and owner drivers signing up to all forms of training.

Many operators have felt the pinch but with the help of up-skilling and compliance assistance, transport training candidates are thriving. The recent Managers CPC success is testament to the expansion of the number of companies taking training seriously. Couple this with the rapid expansion of driver CPC take up, and it points to an industry fighting back.

The worst may or may not be behind us but this is not time for complacency. Take the initiative to put yourself at the front of competition, training and up-skilling is key to the survival of any company and with the new CPC laws in full effect, now is the appropriate time.

Courses available to transport sectors are many and varied. The popular ADR Training course is still as successful as ever, and Fuel Efficient Driving is growing day by day. Participation on these practical courses is easier than expected,

Most drivers are aware of NVQ training previously popular is this sector. However, with funding restrictions enforced in all areas only the largest training providers have any funding allocation left. This funded training is worth every penny of tax payer’s money; however mere pounds and pence must not be the overruling factor when choosing your training path.

The PCV sector is into their second year of CPC training and the Logistic Operators can learn many lessons from their experiences. Whist certain CPC courses may appear cheap as the saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’. You are going to have to do this training so why waste good money to be stuck in a dark room with ‘death by PowerPoint’ when you can get high quality, hands on training.

The key is forward planning. Those who plan now and schedule their training now will reap the rewards in the future. With five years before CPC effects those drivers with grandfather rights why not do one module a year rather than wait till the last minute and hope a training provider can squeeze you in? The positive reaction so far is an encouraging sign for the future.

In September 2014 we don’t want drivers sitting outside their cabs unable to drive.
The vision of LGV driving is changing; the professional industry we all know is at the forefront of innovative development. Imperative to this change is skill and knowledge of transport training providers to facilitate the changes required to accomplish this.

How to Use Your Online Money Making Strategy

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

Websites on travel are also interesting. Websites such as Digg, Stumbleupon , and Delicious will also help you increase your website traffic if you post on them. It is a big mistake to use social media tools with a mind set of trying to gain more advertising.

Blog Marketing is one of the best marketing resources currently on the market. It is comprehensive and while experienced bloggers may find it a little too basic, it is a great read for business executives new to blogging. Blogging is not residual and if you stop posting, you do not get paid. Okay so your blog can survive with a posting break for a while but if you stop blogging altogether then your blog will eventually die. Blog entries are not meant to have a lecturing. They are meant to inspire, entertain amuse, and (briefly) inform.

Internet marketing techniques allow the network marketing home business owner to get targeted traffic that is interested in the product and the opportunity. No longer do you have to cold call prospects from lead sheets that are old and recycled. Internet became a mainstream in many parts of the world. As there is a continuous growth in Internet usage, the number of websites on the Internet is also increasing.

Google adsense terms of service do not allow me to disclose how much i make from adsense. I can talk in more general terms however and the amount you will make per click through is hugely variable depending on the content of your site and therefore the content of the ad and its CPC (cost per click).

Anyone can come up with their own craps strategy given they know the basics of the game and have some common sense. Coming into the casino, you have to fully understand what a casino really is; it is not a charity where they give in should you be on a losing streak, be aware that the longer you play a negetive expectation game, the better the chance you will lose cash.

Start the process by identifying and listing down all the things that you do best or those things that you are considered an expert on. Whatever it is that you are passionate about, convert it to a product. Starting a partnership after the first three months of your business would be highly unusual in this case, because is really difficult to establish a significant presence in only three months.

Choosing the automatic mode means that you will need to buy and use software programs that will enable you to automate the process. Buying those software packages is where the investment lies. Choose the ones which best suit your site, your skills, your interests. All the traffic techniques I describe here involve work. Many of your competitors will be too lazy to do the work involved, so when you do it, your traffic will leap ahead of theirs.
